We are a community farm and garden in Madison Georgia. Our garden is subdivided into separate plots for each family participating in the harvest. Plots are leased on an annual basis for a small fee. The Community Garden offers advice and loans tools for planting. Each family is responsible for maintaining their plot, fertilizing, watering and weeding. Water is provided on the site.

This bed is for anyone in the community who needs a little extra help putting food on the table. Located near the front gate off of Fifth Street, the harvest basket and designated bed are easily identified by a colorful pinwheel and white basket. Anyone in the community is welcome to stop by and pick up fresh vegetables harvested by this bed and donations from other gardeners.

We foster personal interaction linked with gardening practices that increase local food sources, including donations to local food pantries.
