Excerpt from the article:

“The parking lot of the vacant Rose of Sharon Apostolic Temple on Fifth Street was full on Wednesday, Sept. 28.

Lowe’s volunteers from across this region used the space to park while they worked all day at the Fifth Street Community Garden. The garden, a plot of land now covered with raised beds, deer-proof fencing and, when the Lowe’s volunteers get done, landscaping, is a community garden that organizers hope will promote both healthy eating and a sense of pride of place.”
